Dai Trang is a Vietnamese creative practitioner based in South Australia. While being a communication designer and an emerging artist, she navigates the delicate balance between doing, thinking and being. Infused with mindfulness meditation and Buddhist philosophy, her artistry embodies the state of being in the life’s flow. Dai Trang delves deeply into each moment through various mediums, primarily painting and textiles, transforming present reality into tangible artefacts she calls “Moment Art”. Her work is a physical manifestation of life’s spectrum in the form of painting, sculpture and installation. Guided by intuition without attaching to pre-determined doctrines, she allows the present moment to shape her creations, unfolding her journey as it evolves. By being present, her artefacts reveal life's richness through various interpretations of awareness, emptiness, impermanence, uncertainty, and non-judgment.
